CELIAC DISEASE.                                                                                                                           Celiac disease or coeliac disease is an autoimmune disease that affects the whole body. Celiac disease can be very elusive causing symptoms that are not related to the bowel itself. Celiac disease is basically an allergy to gluten. When a person has an allergy to gluten and they eat food containing it they have a reaction in the body causing antibodies to start attacking the bowel lining destroying the small villi and in-turn causing malabsorption. The symptoms of celiac disease.                                             1. Diarrhea 2. Constipation 3. Headaches 4. Anemia 5. Vitamin deficiencies 6. weightloss or gain 7. Rashes 8. Muscles aches and joint pain 9. Tiredness that can interfere with daily life 10. Problems with skin hair and nails and many many more. Celiac disease is now becoming more common due to good health care. Celiac disease is very easily treated and the way to treat it is by not eating gluten but beware it's hidden everywhere its in lipsticks shampoo and creams. Even if it does not say gluten on the packet do not assume that the product has no gluten. I believe the best way to avoid gluten is to cook from scratch.
